Local football writers
who watched Wednesday’s friendly match said that the competitive game was very interesting,
as both sides made high profile exhibition which ended in a goalless draw
during the 90 minute period that it takes to play a football game.
COMSED chairman Abdi Qani
Khalif Arabey told a post match press conference that he was very pleased with
the results of their two friendly games they played so far.
"The kind of friendly
games and integration programs will not end there, as we are planning more other
such events” Mr. Arabey said adding that his team invited three division clubs
who will travel to Galkayo for friendly competitions in the near future.
He said that the three
clubs who are planning to travel to Galkayo are: The defending champions Elman
FC, Dekedda and the Somali Police-owned Club Heegan FC. Earlier, COMSED had its
first friendly against Dekedda, but although COMSED scored the opener goal,
they were defeated 4-2.
However, COMSED’s arrival
in the capital Mogadishu was to pave the way for the arrangements of the
country’s first regional level leagues which are expected in the country in a
few months time.
