Somali Football Federation has today launched a new fitness centre owned by the Ocean Stars, the country's national football team.
"It is an honour for the SFF to unveil this fully equipped GYM facility which is owned by the Ocean Stars. Our football clubs will also benefit from this fitness centre” the president noted.
On his side, senior vice president, Ali Abdi Mohamed, added that the launch of the well-equipped centre has an importance for the development of the game in Somalia. "This will not be the last, as we are going to launch many other fitness centres” the senior vice president said.
The new fitness centre which
is located at the National Technical centre is fully equipped with sophisticated

president, Abdiqani Said Arab, senior VP Ali Abdi Mohamed and executive committee
members, Abdi Osman Dami and Fahmo Kulle Ali attended the launch ceremony of
the new fitness centre.
President Arab, who
addressed at the inauguration ceremony of the centre thanked FIFA and CAF for their
assistance. "I am sending a big thank you to FIFA and CAF for financing the
construction of the centre and the sophisticated equipment available here” the
president told the media.
