Jubbaland, the defending champions of Somali Inter-State football tourney, have experienced a bad start, after 1-0 loss to South West State on Monday.

Osman Bashir Aden scored the golden goal for South West in the 21^st minute of the match. The result was not good for Jubbaland, who will on Wednesday encounter Puntland, another strong team and a finalist of the previous edition of the competition

Puntland will still have another match to reserve, but if Jubbaland lose to puntland on Wednesday, that will be the end for them. Meanwhile, Hosts Banadir will meet Hir-Shabelle in the second group A match on Tuesday. Banadir have been the hosts of the event since it was launched, but has never won it.
