Somali Football Federation has commended Somali community in Uganda in general and particularly Somali Sports Association in the country for greatly contributing to the Ocean Stars delegation during their stay in Uganda.

Head of the Somali delegation and SFF executive committee member, Abdisamad sheik Qasim, said that Somali community members in Uganda have shown a great commitment to the national team and have helped them a lot since their arrival in the country. "Not only they attend matches to cheer the team, but they are always with us and help us in different ways” Head of the Somali delegation Abdisamad sheik Qasim noted.

National team manager, Said Abdi Haibeh, added that the Somali Sports Association in Uganda has played a key role in organizing Somali fans and made a lot of facilitations for the Ocean stars before, during and after training sessions.
