CECAFA [Council of East and Central Africa Football Association], has revealed the draws for this year's Kagame Club Championship.
Heegan FC won the recently ended Somalia’s Nation Link Telecom Championship and it will be representing Somalia in the CECAFA club cup for the first time in its history.
The draws were announced in Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam, where the tournament will be taking place from 18 July to August 2.
Rwandan side APR, will take on Sudan's El Shandy in
the opening match. This year’s competition will attract a total of 13 clubs.
Somalia will be represented in the competition by the police Club, Heegan FC. The
club was founded in 1950, but disappeared and was revived several years ago.
