In the 12th minute of the first half of the game, Horseed’s young striker Abdulkadir Moyaddin Hajji scored a wonderful goal for his team which marked its first goal since the tournament reopened in Mogadishu on January 21st
Ten minutes later, in the 22nd minute of the first half Heegan’s Ahmed Osman Abdulle put into the opposite goal from a penalty kick making the match 1-1 equality.
Horseed tried its best to take the lead again, but in the 35th and 38th minutes, a little while before the end of the 1st half Mahad Mohamed Ahmed and JIbril Hassan Mohamed scored the 2nd and the 3rd goals for their team and as the result the first half ended in 3-1 with Heegan having the lead.
How ever, Abdi Naser Ali Sheik signed the fourth and the last goal for his team ‘Heegan’ who then played in defense system in the last minutes of the match.
Horseed’s wonderful striker Abdulkadir Moyaddin Hajji made successive attacks and happened to score two goals against Heegan in the 72nd and 88th minutes of the second half. Then the match became very competitive and Horseed regained their lost hopes, but were not successful to win or draw.
The Somali Police club ‘Heegan’ which is described as one of the strongest football clubs in Somalia is currently leading the championship with six points and two wins. According to the fixtures of the championship Heegan will meet Mogadishu port’s club on Tuesday next week.
During Monday’s match between Somali Police club ‘Heegan’ and the military club ‘Horseed’ the below cautions were given to four players, two from each team.
