Sahafi Football Club has beaten Bariga Dhexe FC 2-1 in the opening clash of Somali Division One Football League on Saturday. The opening match of the event was played at the National Technical Centre stadium.

Today’s victory has been seen as a brilliant start for Sahafi FC which was relegated from the country’s most prestigious Somali Premier League last season. Meanwhile, Jamhuuriya FC took on Ummah Hospital at Banadir Stadium in the second match of the fixture which ended in a goalless draw.
