Somali National Army Sports Club, Horseed SC, has won the 2019 edition of General Da'ud Cup after beating Mogadishu City Club 3-2 in a hotly-fought over match on Thursday.
Winning General Da’ud Cup trophy has a great significance for the Somali Army, as the annual competition is held in the remembrance of the founder of Somali National Army, General Da’ud Abdulle Hersi, but unluckily they [the military team] have been missing it for the past four years.
